Malanad Teacher Training Institute is an initiative of the Archdiocese of Thalassery, established in 2004 and is managed by the ‘Malanad Educational and Charitable Trust, Taliparamba (Reg. No. 221/IV/2001). The institute is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Government of India and is recognised by the General Education Department,Government of Kerala. Currently we offer Elementary Teacher Training Course ( Diploma in Elementary Education, D El.Ed.)of two years’ duration with an annual intake of 50 students. We provide quality education in our green and clean campus with modern, state of the art infrastructure.
